Great Shirt. way too small

To start I wear XL in pretty much everything DC makes, and everything fits great. This shirt feels almost two sizes too small after I sized up. The XXL fits like a large. I wear two of the older midweight button ups in XL and they are fine, This new Field Shirt needs the measurements re-evaluated? Hopefully this at least helps someone figure out the right size to order.
