I normally wear XL shirts but for some reason when I ordered this shirt, my wife said go with a 2XL. Better for it to be too big then too small. Glad we did but even a 2XL doesn't fit as loose as I like my outdoor shirts to fit, especially in the hot summers of Florida. Lots of pros for this shirt - like the snaps, the material, thump holes and design. Honestly, I would have worn something like this in 2023 when I through hiked the Appalachian trail. I'm torn between keeping it (again I like very loose fitting shirts in the heat of the summer) or sending it back for a 3XL. My wife says she likes the fit, so probably keeping it. Have an upcoming Overland Jeep trip and will give it a good test then. Pricey of course, just wish the size was better.

Might just work!
I haven’t had a chance to try the hoodie for its intended purpose-hot weather, as it is winter in the Rockies. However as with all my Duck Camp purchases, the fit and feel of the fabric is wonderful. I am a fly fishing, rafting, camping guide in the Gunnison Gorge with an affinity for snap shirts that have pockets. As soon as I saw the design of this shirt, I saw great potential for sun protection and utility beyond the stereotypical guide hoodie. I’m looking forward to discovering the cooling effects of the fabric during one of our 100+ degree days! I’ll let you know how it works! Thanks!
