Received my new shacket today and I’m impressed.
Positives:
Very nice material inside and out. Feels like chamois cloth exterior and fleece interior.
Very well constructed.
Great fit. The XL is perfect for a light jacket. Not too large, not too tight. I’m XL in other outdoor brands with regular fit.
Substantial weight, but not too heavy.
Color, Pin Oak, is spot-on with what I wanted and what is displayed online.
Hand pockets are convenient and roomy.
Not sure of the warmth yet, but I feel it’ll work well for a light jacket.
Snaps are silent when closing, but do snap when opening.
Negatives:
No inside pocket.
Two chest pockets are too small. My cell phone sticks out the top too far for the flap to cover and button and no way will my sunglasses fit, so, they’re nearly useless.
Made in China.
Overall I would rate this shacket an 8.5 out of 10. It really is a nice light jacket, but needs a tad of fine tuning. Am I happy with my purchase? Yes.
