I switched from a shooting apron to a hunting vest a few years ago, but decided to try this rig to wear over layers and rain gear. Hunted with it this past weekend and it was great! Did about 4 miles of pheasant hunting and it was so comfortable the whole time I could hardly tell it was there. I’m 6’ 2” 215lbs and it was a great fit, with lots of belt-holes left over for adjustment. The pouches are sturdy and roomy with flaps that are hefty enough not to flop around when unsnapped. Way more than enough room for 25 shells on one side (you could probably get 50 in there) and spent hulls on the other, and the zippered pocket is perfect for my hunting license. The fabric loop to which the flap snap is attached is a great touch, and was a great place to clip a mini carabiner for my ear-pro case. Quality materials, nicely constructed. Got a little rain during the hunt, and the waxed canvas worked just fine. I’d prefer the rear pouch to be bigger - hard to fit more than a couple of pheasants in it, but probably plenty big for smaller birds - but no complaints at all, really. A nice, solid piece of kit that I would recommend to anyone. If you don’t need a full complement of gear (multiple water bottles, electronics, leash, etc.) this is a fantastic lightweight option.

Much like all of their products, this one is durable and made to last. The bags can be moved or removed from the belt depending on your needs. Highly recommend.

It's not often that something arrives and exceeds my expectations but that is exactly what happen with this game bird set. The belt and bags are really well made and I can't wait to use them in the field.

I’m currently running fairly overweight, pushing 270 lbs on a 6’ frame with a comfortable 40” waist, 38” if I find the right pants. The bags are solid and large enough for a couple grouse, a bunch of woodcock or one or two pheasant. The belt is a little small, I can get to the first hole on the belt but it’s tight. Luckily the bags are separate from the belt and will be transferred onto another until such time as I get the fat off my ass. Everything is quality and will certainly last.

Just as expected, high quality and good value

After purchasing this belt, I happened to see a similar game belt from another major outdoor retailer. The Duck Camp belt It is of much higher quality...and actually, a little cheaper. I also love that the game bag is removable if I'm just going out to shoot skeet.

Item looks great but will use in the field next week and check back.
