Would only change one thing!

I love this hoodie, but like another review mentioned I do wish it had a kangaroo pocket for when I am wearing it as my outer layer. Everything else about it is awesome though. I even think it is more comfortable than my Head Guide Fleece Hoodie and it definitely layers better in my opinion. The hood's fit over a hat is superb and allows you to still have good vision when turning your head unlike some hoodies that you would be looking into the side of your hood. The Barn Burner moves better with you than the Head Guide Hoodie as well (I'm 5'11" & 215 lbs wearing XL). I have the Head Guide Hoodie (original version) in the same size, but it doesn't fit under my wading jacket as well and is much bulkier than the Barn Burner to me. I like both hoodies, but feel the Barn Burner is the superior of the two because of the fit, the hood design, and feel it is warmer even though it is less bulky. BTW, I wouldn't agree with the description that says it is comfortable up to 70 degree temps. I feel you would be sweating bullets!

Title says it all.

Great piece. Wore this Turkey hunting four days straight in WI this last weekend. Nasty damp rainy weather in the forties. Wore this with a BlackOvis 150 L/S merino and a cotton tee. Stayed warm the entire time. Only complaint is the material is getting a little fuzzy/pilling where my bino harness sat on my chest.

Favorite Layer

My go to layer for fishing during the cold Montana spring mornings. Highly recommend. Looks great too.

Amazing hoodie

This hoodie is so warm and comfortable and goes great with the joggers. I ordered it a little late in the season, but was still able to enjoy it on a cold weekend camping trip and it paired well with a baselayer. Can’t wait to wear it all of next season!
