Duck Camp Pullover Size XL review

I am size XL, the sleeves were long enough for my long arms and the pullover was not too baggy, comfortable and roomy. Fits just right! Nice earth tone color for hunting and can be worn around town out and about. Multi use for sure.

Love the quality and utility

Haven’t used it in the wild yet, but can’t wait to get out there. Im headed to the Big Horn in November for some fishing and I think this will keep me comfortable while I pull in some monster trout!

Just right, right now

This shell hoodie is the perfect weight for Texas’ autumn outings. I weigh 275+ pounds, before breakfast, but this jacket is amply cut and sized to fit. Come November I will wear it to the deer blind and/or the football stadium.

All around great hoody!

Very functional with simple thought out design. Will be my primary piece for all my early season dog training and a solid addition to layering system. Quality- as expected from DC!

Canada Duck Trip

Fits well and seems warm. Planning to use this as my primary cover up while waterfowling in Canada this year. I also run a retriever training kennel, so I'll wear it all fall and winter. We'll see how it holds up to the dogs and the weather.

Feels Amazing

Fits perfectly. Not loud, seems very comfortable

Should be good as a layer when it’s colder and great as a stand alone as well.

The only thing I’m slightly concerned about is the hood. I’m not sure how it will be when moving around. But that’s a common failing among hoods.

I think I’m going to love it once it’s cool enough to wear.

The absolute go-to

This hoody is amazing. The shell is quiet, water-repellent, and durable. I have this same hoody in the tech fleece variant and had to get this one too. Pockets for days, fits wonderful. Just go ahead and buy it.

Not It

If you’re hoping this is the head guide fleece hoodie- not it. Looks like it from pics, but not it. I was fine with the current material. Nice fleece lining and weather resistant outer. Sizing is way off. Could barely slide it over my upper torso because the bottom was so tight. Once on, the sleeves were 5 inches long on each sleeve. Torso has abnormal amounts of space that oddly floats out. Tight body, long arms and huge chest? Odd fit. This was a size medium. Material also has that sloshy noise that technical gear sometimes makes and has a weird shine to the material. Like old 80s windbreaker pants. I like a lot of the duck camp stuff, but this ain’t it.

Hey Hunter,

Thanks for the honest feedback. Unfortunately, we could not get our hands on the fabric that we used to make our original Head Guide Hoodie with so we went back to the drawing board. We improved the face fabric making it more durable but left the fleece liner on the inside. All of the measurements, fit and features will be the same as the original Head Guide Hoodie. All that being said, I apologize our product was not right for you, we're happy to make things right. I want to let you know that we offer free returns and exchanges at https://returns.duckcamp.com/#/ if you are not fully satisfied with the product. If you have any questions please send an us an email at help@duckcamp.com and we would be happy to assist.

Best,
James
