Eeland is known for his deep knowledge of fisheries and the species that rely on them. He spends his time either standing in a river in Colorado or on a stage at a comedy club.
He's dedicated to leaving habitats better than he found them and passing his knowledge on to the next generation through youth fly fishing classes.
“I was named after the largest african antelope, the Eland. My profession is to, sort of, loiter in places with fish or comedy clubs and crack a joke every once in a while.”
What’s your favorite species to hunt and fish for?
My favorite species to hunt is between the age of 46-72, must be able to bake cookies and have that handle and seat combo in the shower.
And also tarpon and carp.
What’s your bucket list destination to hunt and fish?
Bucket list destination is Mongolia for Taimen, Brazil for Dorado, and East Africa for tarpon. Also in the puzzle aisle at a craft store. Cause if ya aunty looking for a puzzle, she likes to nuzzle. Knowatimtalmabout?
Actually, I really want to go noodling, i’m writing a short film about it.
Why is the Duck Camp brand special to you?
I’ve always watched and been a fan of Duck Camp, not as a brand but as a group of people who care about the outdoors, want to enjoy and share with people and looking dope AF doing it.
What’s your favorite Game Series hat?
I gotta say the pheasant hat. I haven’t had the chance to hunt pheasant but the colors of the hat and the birds with my eyes and mahogany sun kissed skin.
What’s your favorite piece of Duck Camp gear?
Lowkey. The jackets. I’m never cold when i’m layered up with the DC. That or flexing my DC shirt on a sold out comedy show across the country. It’s a flex. IYKYK
