Christian Hill
Angler. Captain. Guide.
From Colorado rivers to Florida flats, Christian Hill has spent a lifetime with a fly rod in hand. As a full-time guide, he combines a passion for teaching with an unwavering respect for the fisheries, traditions, and people that make fly fishing special.
Whether he's rowing a drift boat or poling a skiff, Christian's goal is simple: help anglers create the kind of memories that keep them coming back.
“Above all, fly fishing is my passion. If I wanted to be somewhere else, I would be. Instead, I’m fortunate enough to spend my days rowing rivers, polling shallow flats, and traveling to remote destinations in pursuit of the experiences this sport provides. Sharing those moments with others is what keeps me coming back day after day.”
What’s your favorite species to hunt and fish for?
As I am just getting into hunting, all I can say is Osceola and elk are on my list but I'd like to upland bird hunt as well.
The fishing question is easy, Tarpon and snook baby they have taken up most of the space in my head.
What’s your bucket list destination to hunt and fish?
There are so many places I'm dying to see, but one of these days I’d like to chase GT’s in the Maldives.
Why is the Duck Camp brand special to you?
Man, that is a great question. Duck camp is special to me because it is a brand that I think represents the core of the outdoor industry.
Every person I have met associated with the brand has been warm, welcoming and without ego. It is refreshing to see a brand uplift the people on the front lines, not just famous online personalities.
As for the products, I have loved every single piece I've had the pleasure of wearing. It's built to go the distance, it's built to withstand the rugged nature of our sports and professions.
Duck Camp products are tried and true day in and day out.

What’s your favorite Game Series hat?
I have to say to GT hat, I haven't gotten one yet and I like to keep my eyes on the prize you know.
What’s your favorite piece of Duck Camp gear?
My favorite piece of DC gear is the deck bib and jacket kit, if it was cold more often I’d live in it!
