Andy Mill

Angler. Olympian. Podcaster.

Andy Mill is a former elite American alpine skier, two-time Olympian, and Colorado Ski Hall of Famer who later became a broadcaster, television producer, and host of Sportsman’s Journal. Andy is a legendary fly fisherman, holding the most invitational tarpon fly tournament wins and being one of only three anglers to win bonefish, tarpon, and permit tournaments on fly.

Alongside his son Nicky, he co-hosts the Mill House Podcast, writes award-winning books, and serves on boards supporting conservation and the fly fishing community.

I hold my fishing accomplishments close to my heart. It’s been extremely special to share my passion for fly angling with my son, Nicky who co-hosts our Podcast, interviewing the great icons of fishing. Our goal is to preserve the rich history of not only fly fishing but all aspects of sport fishing.”

What’s your favorite species to hunt and fish for?

There is nothing like watching a giant tarpon eat your fly or or a screaming bull elk close to bow range. This has been where my heart has lived for the last four decades.

I have lost years of sleep chasing these animals and consider myself one of the luckiest people alive to have this life I have.

What’s your bucket list destination to hunt and fish?

A bucket list for chasing my dream locations would be to hunt the San Carlos White Mountains for some of the biggest elk alive and possibly fishing off the coast of Africa hooking and landing a 250 pound tarpon on fly!

Why is the Duck Camp brand special to you?

Duck Camp clothing fits my complete lifestyle. Hunting, fishing, golfing or just hanging out at home you'll usually see me in Duck Camp gear, summer or winter they never miss.

What’s your favorite Game Series hat?

Duck Camp makes the most complete range of hats you'll ever find. You can't just have one - you need at least 5 or 10 because, well, just because!

What’s your favorite piece of Duck Camp gear?

My favorite Duck Camp clothing is either the lightweight performance shirts and hoodies for the hot Florida sun or the woodland shirts and pants to hide me in the elk woods
