fashion rather than function

I've the a pair of the brush pants and the "guide" brush pants. Both have worn out in a single hunting season. The basically shred to peaces in all the places you'd expect: pockets, leg openings, crotch. Another reviewer mentioned that they don't wash well - also my experience. While they look great - but for the price you're getting a terrible value. If you wear an upland vest the front pockets are really hard to reach - need cargo pockets or something lower than the standard placing. These would be great casual pants for 40% less.
