This 3-layer vest is a great mid-layer or outer-layer for your next hunting trip. Featuring a 4-way stretch fabric and useful pockets, it is the perfect performance vest. Thoughtfully designed to sit at your waist with a longer tail, this vest is a great complement to the Midland 2.0 Vantage Jacket, Vantage Pants and Vantage Cap.

  • 4-way stretch fabric treated with C6 DWR (water repellency)
  • 3-Layer construction -- 46% Nylon, 46% Poly, 8% Spandex bonded with fleece
  • 10,000mm water repellent rating. 10,000mm breathability rating
  • 315 g/m weight
  • 6 pockets: handwarmer pockets with magnet closure, waterproof zippered front hand pockets, external and internal chest pockets lined in tricot fleece
  • Zipper pull chest pocket for your release aid or other valuables
  • Sharp lines and an athletic fit for warmth and ease of movement
  • Proprietary Midland 2.0 camouflage pattern
  • Length is specifically cut for mobility and pant pocket access on the hunt - If you are between sizes, size up

The vest is exactly as described. Workmanship and attention to detail rivals that of Sitka and my old school Filson gear. It just doesn’t get any better!

Dad loves it!

Got this for my dad as a gift. He loves the fit and camo pattern. Pockets are great for sitting in the tree.

Good vest. Softshell is super noisy

Really cool quality product for layering. That I am not gonna argue with. I put this on over a barnburner hoodie in 20 degree weather and went trout fishing and I was nice and toasty. Really does cut the wind really well. Haven't put it through any rain or snow- so I can't speak to the DWR treatment. However if you have it in mind as an outer layer for bow hunting... This thing is the loudest softshell ever. That is my only complaint. Cool piece for anything you don't need to be stealthy for. Quality pockets and an all around good fit. I agree with the other comments about it being short and sizing is snug. Those are true. Range if motion is excellent due to that fact if you need that in a hunting/fishing garment.

We have a new updated softshell vest, our Contact Softshell Vest, that is much quieter than the Vantage Vest. It is also a 2 Layer instead of a 3 Layer. In addition, we have a 3L Fleece Vest as well, that is lined with fleece on the outside, and is a super quiet material. Shortest vest I’ve ever tried on.

Had to return. This vest didn’t even come down to my belly button. I’ve owned plenty of vests and never had one be this short. Not sure how anyone average height or taller could make it work.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on our Vantage Vest. Our thoughts when designing this vest was to develop a middle to outer layer vest that does not bunch up when seated and allows easy access to anything you might need to reach on your belt. With these goals in mind the vest will run a few inches shorter. After receiving similar feedback, we recently released a new Contact Vest that fits a few inches longer. I highly recommend giving the Contact vest a shot, I'm confident you'll like the improved fit.

Great, as always

Another really good product from duck camp. Have used their gear on hunting and fishing trips all over Texas and the border states through the South from Kentucky to Georgia and none have disappointed. The reviewed vest is a good weight/warmth ratio and fits true to size. Thanks Duck Camp.
