Milly is the daughter of a duck hunting guide, so you can bet your boots she is getting on some birds. This spunky 11-month-old Black Lab loves to hunt ducks and pheasants in South Dakota with her Pops, Watson.

Her first ever hunt was a goose hunt and from that moment on, Watson knew his dog had a switch that clicks on for big honkers. It was cold that morning and snow started coming down around 7:45 a.m. At 7:58 a.m., the first flock came and a triple was rolled. The third bird sailed off crippled across the corn field about 200 yards. Milly hadn't tried to make a retrieve on a big ole honker like that, but Watson sent her anyway. She held a perfect line all the way to the goose until he picked his head up and started running. A fire was lit deep down within Milly that day as she then kicked it in overdrive. With a soaring leap, Milly tackled this goose by the neck, completely rolling in a somersault - yet hanging onto the bird. With one proud shake of her head, she snapped the goose's neck and proudly ran it back to the blind happier than ever. Here's to Milly, one badass young pup!
