Great Service and Products! Just wish you would get some of your back-ordered items in stock.
I’ve been looking for a wool hoodie to hunt in for awhile now. My requirements were that it had to be wool, it had to be a pullover with a hood, and it had to have a left chest pocket.
When afield for big game I’ll carry my Zeiss 10x25 compact binoculars 95% of the time.
Having a hood allows me to put the hood up and then put the binocular strap over my head, and the left chest pocket allows me to put the binoculars in it and zip it closed if I have to go mobile. This hoodie (obviously) checked all of those boxes for me. I live in Oklahoma, so buying from a place based in Texas really appealed to me as well. The service and speed of shipping were all first rate. I’ll definitely be buying more Duck Camp products soon as well as we get closer to fall.
Nice material and well made. Looking forward to wearing as a lite and warm mid-layer .
Would 100% recommend anyone to purchase and I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Warm, soft, well cut. New favorite sweater for cool weather fishing, hunting, and camping.
As a biologist, I have used this sweater while working in the field, kayaking, working in the office (looks semi professional), and even banding waterfowl at night. Outside of work, this sweater performs great while fly fishing, camping and just relaxing by the fire with a cold beer. The merino wool provides great warmth, but also can help wick away moisture when you get to warm. I am excited to have this for our fall salmon run fly fishing adventures and while relaxing at duck camp after a long day open water hunting on Lake Michigan.
Barn Burner Merino Hoodie - Moss
Great material, makes great pullover for layering or wearing alone. Moss color is very subtle for hunting, fishing or wearing to dinner.
6’2@215 and XL is perfect fit.
This is the best made piece of clothing I have ever owned. Fit perfect, warm and soft inside. I cannot say enough good things about the Barn Burner Hoodie. The Quality is incredible. Definitely a go to in my closet.
I haven’t hunted with this yet, but the fit and finish are excellent. I love merino because it insulates even when wet, and doesn’t stink after a few days in the field! Large comfortable thumb holes are the best! I think Duck Camp makes superior gear at a great price point.
